The bedroom on the main floor is adjacent to the bathroom and has a double bed. The upstairs bedroom has two twin beds and the loft has a twin bed and a double bed. We have enough blankets to keep you warm, but ask that you provide your own sheets and pillows.
The full kitchen is completely modern with full-size refrigerator (with icemaker) a stove with oven and microwave. We also provide a coffee pot, toaster oven, pots and pans, cutlery and china. Sorry, there's no dishwasher. We have a grill on the deck, but ask that you bring your own charcoal. The dining area has a round table seating 4-6 and the kitchen counter has three stools. A picnic table on the deck seats 8.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, but no tub. Please bring your own soap and towels.
The lodge is equipped with a heat pump, which provides both heating and cooling. Also, the wood-burning stove can heat the entire cabin. You may want to pickup a bundle of firewood on your way, or you can gather some along the river. The air conditioner is designed to cool the first floor only. If nights are too warm, turn off the a/c, open the windows and turn on the fan upstairs to cool the entire cabin.
The lodge has a telephone for local calls only. Cell coverage is spotty and, since we don't have cable, offer no internet services.
You will have to remove your trash as you leave, since there is no trash service. The county landfill is south of Woodstock on Route 11. A secondary drop point is past Maurertown, north on Route 11.
